…Says “Humanity First” is One of His Philosophies in Life

The clock fast ticked towards the end of the morning when the atmosphere at Modebe Avenue, Onitsha area of Anambra State was permeated with tears and sense of relief as Dr. Godwin Maduka arrived the scene of the fire incident to commiserate with victims.

According to reports, the fire which started late on Saturday’s night, September 18, 2021, damaged so many properties worth millions of naira.

On the heels of the development, Dr. Godwin Maduka’s Foundation on Sunday morning, after due investigation to ascertain the authenticity of the call and the unsavoury situation, Dr. Maduka together with some members of his Foundation team arrived the scene later to condole with the fire victims.

He dolled out funds in tune of millions to support the victims in taking care of their hospital bills and feeding for the time being.

Dr. Maduka further promised to constantly check up on them while he called on the relevant government agencies to come to the aide of the Onitsha/Modebe fire victims.

It was a sight to behold as the fire victims could not contain their joy as many of them broke down in tears thanking Dr. Maduka and praying fervently for God to bless him more abundantly and lead him to actualize successfully his governorship aspirations.

The Harvard University trained Medical Doctor and the Accord Party candidate for the upcoming November 6, 2021 Anambra gubernatorial election, further called on the good spirited individuals and the general public to rally round to assist the fire victims in whatever way in order to alleviate their present pains.

Okosisi Orumba prayed for God’s infinite blessings on anyone that will contribute towards assisting the Onitsha fire victims.
