Presidential aspirant of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Faduri Oluwadamilare Joseph, has extended warm felicitations to Muslim faithful across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, urging renewed commitment to peace, unity, and national development.
In a personally signed Eid message made available to journalists in Abuja, he congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of Ramadan, which he described as a period marked by deep spiritual reflection, sacrifice, and devotion to Allah.
Faduri called on Nigerians to sustain the virtues of compassion, tolerance, and generosity imbibed during the holy month, emphasizing that such values are essential for fostering harmonious coexistence in the country.
Expressing concern over Nigeriaโs prevailing security challenges, the NRM presidential hopeful urged collective prayers and decisive actions toward restoring peace and stability. He prayed for divine intervention to grant the nation relief from insecurity and to strengthen efforts aimed at safeguarding lives and property.
Faduri also offered prayers for the nationโs leaders, seeking divine wisdom, integrity, and a sincere commitment to good governance. He stressed that leadership grounded in justice and fairness remains critical to achieving national progress.
Addressing the countryโs economic realities, he encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful and resilient despite current challenges, expressing optimism that unity and faith would pave the way for economic prosperity, sustainable growth, and inclusive development.
โMay Allah accept our acts of worship, grant Nigeria lasting peace, and bless our land with prosperity and progress,โ he stated.
Faduri concluded by urging citizens to use the Eid celebration as an opportunity to extend love, particularly to the less privileged, in line with Islamic teachings.
โEid Mubarak to all Muslim faithful,โ he added.
