Dare-devil Armed robbers, on Wednesday, raided some banks on Ikorodu area of Lagos State, carting away unspecified amount of money.

TheStreetReporters.com reliably gathered the robbers attacked the banks located at Ipakodo Ebute, near Ogolonto in Ikorodu before making their escape in speed boats, which they used in accessing the area.

It was gathered that Zenith Bank and First Bank were raided.

The Police said men of the force were responding to the attack, saying on its Twitter handle: @PoliceNG said: “Our officers are responding to armed robbery at #Ogolonto Ikorodu Lagos. Citizens are advised to stay off vicinity; Lagos now secured after our officers responded to Bank robbery this morning. Police units remain on ground.”

There were unconfirmed reports that about 10 persons were killed in the robbery incident.
