Why I will Remain Eternally Grateful To Abacha, Fayose Says

Indefatigable Ekiti State Governor, Peter Ayodele Fayose has disclosed that owes former maximum ruler, late General Sani Abacha eternal gratefulness, promising to make a difference.

While specifically thanking the late Head of State for creating Ekiti State on October 1, 1996, the governor expressed his gratitude via his twitter handle.

He wrote: “Many states are there which Abacha could have created, but he chose to create Ekiti state due to the love he had for us”.

“Abacha could have created another state, but he chose to create Ekiti State. I will continue to be grateful to him.

“Everything that I do on this seat, if it is the will of God, it will stand the test of time.

“Despite the current financial challenges, I will make a difference,” he tweeted.
