Why Dangote Workers Want Buhari To Probe Their Employer

Dangote’s workers who have downed tools for the second day in protest against their poor remuneration have urged President Muhammadu Buhari to probe the multimillionaire business own, Alhaji Aliko Dangote.

The worker at Dangote’s Obajana cement company who continued their strike on Saturday said they have no intention to call it off until their welfare package was reviewed.

To drive home their protest, the aggrieved workers, mainly from the transport department, practically blocked the entrance gate to deprive access by management staff to the premises.

The workers insisted that President Buhari’s to beam his anti graft satellite on President of the company because of his exploitative attitude, pleading with him to prevail on Dangote group to implement staff welfare and salary increment.

TheStreetReporters.com gathered that despite Dangote’s towering financial profile globally, the transport workers earn between N20, 000.00 and N35, 000.00 monthly, after 10 to 30 years of service to the company.
