Barring any last minutes change of plans, there is an arrangement for a crucial meeting by all the South East governors following increasing agitation by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) for the actualization of an independent state of Biafra, even as IPOB activists on Monday locked down Aba, the commercial city in Abia state, demanding the immediate release of their detained leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

The meeting of South East governors were said to be arranged by the Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

Also, the Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB) was expected to be part of the meeting.

Meanwhile, in Aba, the entire Enyimba city was said to have been at standstill as Banks, Schools and all markets in the city were shut following a mega protest against the continued detention of the IPOB leader.

The massive crowd, numbering over a million, was chanting Biafra solidarity songs marching from all directions, including Ariaria, Osisioma, Ngwa Road and Ala Ojii.
