#Nnamdi Kanu’s Family Join Pro-Biafra Protest in Umuahia
The family of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) on Monday joined hundreds of pro-Biafra activists as they took the streets in Umuahia, the abia State capital.
The Street Reporters gathered that despite the presence of heavily armed men deployed to Umuahia, the home town of the detained IPOB leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, his family members joined in the call for the release of Kanu.
It was gathered that in the early hours of this morning, Movement has been restricted and everything in a standstill in Umuahia the capital of Abia State.
The trooped into town through Gate (Isi Gate) and several other streets, armed different shades and sizes of Biafra flag and framed photos of the detained IPOB leader and Radio Biafra Director, Nnamdi Kamanu.
