Shehu SaniThe Kaduna State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC is set to suspend Senator Shehu Sani.
It was gathered that the ruling party has concluded plans to suspend Sani because of the unresolved rift between him and Kaduna Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufai, PM News reports.

The party, according to a Daily Post report, had last Wednesday sent a letter to Senator Shehu Sani inviting him to appear within seven days before a disciplinary committee set up by acting Chairman, Shuaibu Idris to clear himself over what the party termed “Anti Party Stand” of the senator.

Sani’s senior assistant, Political and Ideology, Comrade Suleiman Ahmed said the letter was rejected on grounds that the senator neither knows the person who signed the letter nor party office address.

He said, ”If the address of the party office in Kaduna he knew has been changed, Senator Shehu Sani was supposed to be informed, in the same vein if the acting chairman was appointed, he should have been notified.
