Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in Ife Central House of Assembly legislative re-run poll, Dipo Eluwole has won the election.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him winner of the election.
The Returning Officer of INEC, Francis Oladimeji, announced the result in Ile-Ife on Sunday, disclosing that Eluwole scored 5,504 votes, while Adetillewa Sijuwade of the All Progressives Congress (APC) had 4,587 votes.
The returning Officer said that Olusegun Fanibe of Accord Party (AP) polled 4,790 votes, Rafiu Anifowose of CPP, 91 votes; Serah Elujulo of NPPP, 11 votes and Segun Adefarare of NNPP, 25 votes.
