#COVID-19 Updates: Coronavirus Disease Spreads to More States as Confirmed Cases Rises

Nigeria has confirmed eight (8) new cases of the Coronavirus disease in the country as the dreaded pandemic spreads to more states, The Street Reporters Newspaper reports.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its COVID-19 updates on Friday announced the new cases, hours after the Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, disclosed a case in his state.

Seven of the new cases are in Lagos State, while one is in Benue State.

The announcement brings to 89 the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Nigeria as at 4pm on March 28 to 89.
