#COVID19: 8.14% of Tested Cases in Nigeria, Return Positive as Infection Rise
…Number of Tested Cases in Nigeria Now 5,000
As the number of #COVID19 infection rise globally, available records show that about 8.14% of tested cases in Nigeria so far have returned positive. This is even at thirty-four new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in the country.
As at 11:20 p.m. on April 15, 2020 Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announced that a total of 5,000 samples were tested with total confirmed cases standing at 407, representing about 8.14 percent.
The Street Reporters Newspaper reports that out of the 407 cases, 128 have been discharged with 12 deaths.
Details of the new cases recorded from the tested cases in Nigeria show that Lagos state has 18 confirmed cases, with 12 in Kano, 2 in Katsina, 1 in Delta, and 1 in Niger state.
