COVID19: Enugu Battles More Interstate Travellers Violating Restriction Order

The Enugu State Government has continued to battle interstate travellers violating the restriction order by the Nigerian government as part of measures aimed at curtaining the spread of Coronavirus disease ravaging the country.

Again, the state “more adamant travellers entering into Enugu State, in violation of the restriction order on interstate transportation, meet their Waterloo at Enugu-Benue boundary as the security personnel on duty intercept and turn them back to where they were coming from”, a government source disclosed.

The government urged citizens to abide by all the measures and regulations for the containment of the spread of COVID-19.

In the last one month, the government has intercepted interstate travellers, and have turning them back.
