The administration of Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State has announced its plan to distribute palliatives to all journalists operating in the state, to cushion the effect of the Coronavirus Disease (#COVID-19) lockdown on them.

In a statement by the State Commissioner for Information, Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh, the event will take place, tomorrow, May 16, 2020 at the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Press Centre, Independence Layout, Enugu by 12 noon.

“All journalists are hereby invited”, Aroh said.

The Enugu State Government is the first to distribute palliatives to all journalists serving the country and the public since the COVID19 outbreak.
