The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Isoko North LGA Chapter has congratulated Delta Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa on the occasion of his 5th anniversary as Executive Governor of Delta State on May 29.

The party in a statement by Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Chairman of the LGA Chapter, congratulated the ‘Road Master’, expressing delight over the remarkable accomplishments of the Okowa led administration in the last five (5) years.

Ogorugba who is also Chairman, Delta State Land Allocation Committee said he was glad to be associated with the SMART Agenda of the Okowa administration which impacted immensely on the lives of the people in the first term.

He said he was quite convinced that the Governor’s second term Stronger Delta vision will translate to greater dividends of democracy through the various people oriented projects, job and wealth creation programmes initiated by the government.

“On behalf of the LGA Executive, party leaders and the entire membership of our great party in Isoko North Local Government, I congratulate and rejoice with you on the 5th anniversary of your administration.

“Your Excellency, your love for integrity and passion for service has continued to play a major role in your leadership of the state with diverse proofs and evidences that dots the nooks and crannies of our beloved state.

“As a party we are pleased with the giant strides recorded by your administration in the last five years in Isoko North which includes the Reconstruction of the Owhelogbo Abbi Road, Reconstruction of the Old Ozoro Oleh Road, Reconstruction of NDC Road Ozoro, Construction Internal Roads at Iyede, Construction of Internal Roads at Owheologbo, ongoing construction of Isoko section of the Ughelli Asaba dualisation project, remodeling of Ofagbe Technical College, Ofagbe, rehabilitation and construction of several classroom buildings among others.

“Your Excellency, we remain committed to the ideals of patriotism and commitment which has characterized your leadership over the years even as we look forward to a greater future ahead for our great party.

“We appreciate your leadership charisma and robust contributions to the development of Isoko North and indeed all parts of Delta State.

“It is our prayer that God almighty will continue to bless you and grant you more resources to achieve your Stronger Delta plans for our people,” he stated.
