EFCC Ambassador Secures Support of Personalities in Abia State
…As Abia Chief of Staff, Youth Commissioner, NURTW Boss Pledge Support
Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Anti Corruption Ambassador, Obidike Chukwuebuka has swelled his support base in the South East after he secured the support of the Abia State personalities, including the Chief of Staff, Dr. Anthony Chidi Brains Agbazuere, an International Human Rights and Constitutional Lawyer and the state Youth commissioner, Hon. Emeka Ikwuagwu.
Obidike Chukwuebuka was hosted by both the Chief of Staff and the commissioner on Monday in the state.
He said, “Today, I got the support of Abia state Youth commissioner – Hon. Emeka Ikwuagwu in the fight against corrupt practices most especially cases of internet fraud among Nigerian youths.
“His youthfulness, Hon. Ikwuagwu welcomed me to the secretariat office at Umuahia the Abia state capital. He was pleased with the campaign and pledged to use his good office to contribute immensely to fight corruption.
“He decried the high rate of youths indulging in internet fraud most especially university students”, Obidike said.
Speaking of the support by the chief of staff, he said, “Today, the Chief of Staff to Abia state Governor – Dr. A.B.C Agbazuere pledged to support the anti corruption crusade.”
Thanking the Chief of Staff for a wonderful host, Obidike noted that Dr. Agbazuere made the pledge when he received him at Government House Umuahia, Abia State.
The EFCC Ambassador also paid a visit to the Abia State Chairman of National Union Of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Chief Eugene Eze.
“We discussed possible ways of curbing corrupt practices among Road transport workers especially multiple taxation and ticketing”, Obidike disclosed.
