Gombe Governor Names Igbo Man, 2 Others in New Appointments
Gombe State Governor, Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya has approved the appointment of two Special Advisers and a Director General.
One of the appointees is an Igbo from the South East of Nigeria.
The new appointees are Group Captain Bitrus P. Bilal (Rtd), who was named Special Adviser on Development Control, Compliance and Enforcement and an Igbo man, Prince Chidebelu Cornelius Ewuzie, named Special Adviser on Inter- Community Relations.
The third appointee is Dr. Muazu Shehu, who was named the Director-General Research and Documentation.
The appointments, which take immediate effect, are in recognition of their track records of achievements, experience, loyalty and commitment to service in the state.
The Secretary to the state Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi who conveyed the appointments on behalf of Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, congratulated the new Special Advisers and the Director-General, urging them to bring to bear their wealth of experience in the discharge of their duties in their respective offices.
