Gov. Ugwuanyi Hosts Tor, Gets Commendation on Bi-partisan Leadership Style from Dankaka

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, on Tuesday, received in audience a daughter of the state, Mrs. Ginika Florence Tor, who was recently appointed and inaugurated as a member and Commissioner representing Enugu State, in the Federal Character Commission, by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Ugwuanyi, a letter of introduction from the Executive Chairman, Federal Character Commission, Dr. Muheeba F. Dankaka, applauded the governor for his bi-partisan leadership, peace and good governance initiatives in the state.

The Street Reporters Newspaper gathered that Dr. Dankaka, in the letter, lauded Gov. Ugwuanyi for “the patriotic services you have been rendering to the people of your state and the nation in general”.

He informed the governor that the Commission’s mandate is “to enforce the Federal Character principles that are aimed at ensuring fair and equitable distribution of posts and socio-economic amenities”.

Gov. Ugwuanyi congratulated Mrs. Tor on her new appointment and assured her of his administration’s support and cooperation in the discharge of her duties, saying that he is proud of her as a daughter of Enugu State.
