Flood: Godwin Maduka Visits Anambra North Victims, Urges Humanitarian Ministry, NEMA to Assist
Concerned by the challenges faced by flood victims in Anambra State, Dr. Godwin Maduka has visited Anambra North District to sympathise with flood victims in the area, calling on the Federal Government of Nigeria, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to assist the flood victims in the zone.
The Street Reporters Newspaper recalls that last month, some communities in the Anambra North senatorial district were submerged by water.
Dr. Maduka who got the sad news while overseas, sent a team to visit the flood victims and donated handsomely to assist them recover from the damages caused by the flood.
On Saturday, Dr. Maduka visited the affected communities in person, sympathised with them, provided funds for them for their upkeep, and calls on the Federal Government of Nigeria, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to assist the flood victims in the zone.
