Senator SamDaddy Anyanwụ Says PDP Big Enough to Accommodate Everyone, Charges Defected Members, Imolites to Rejoin Party

Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu (SamDaddy) has described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as a big family that can accommodate everyone irrespective of their clime.
He also pleaded with aggrieved members of the party wrongly pushed aside for selfish reasons and Imo people desirous of good governance to rejoin the party, saying that plans were on top gear to proffer solution geared towards protecting everyone’s interest.
Senator Anyanwu further reminded Imo people of the major role PDP played while in power, maintaining that job opportunities, formidable local government system and construction of quality roads were provided under its administration.
According to him, a PDP government under Chief Achike Udenwa and Ikedi Ohakim respectively created over twenty thousand visible jobs, pointing out that market women, Artisans and the youths were given a pride of place in the PDP controlled government.
He said, “under PDP government, the people were given freedom to operate unlike what they receive today.
“The government under our great party created over 20, 000 visible jobs. Market women, Keke, vehicle operators, and the youths were empowered massively. Our party is ready to do more than before, but we can’t do that without the masses. The door of our party is widely open to accommodate everyone, but for the aggrieved members, please come back as your interest will be protected”.
The former Senate Committee Chairman on Ethics, Privileges and Public Petitions further hinted that the entire South East geopolitical zone was predominantly controlled by the PDP, assuring of the party’s readiness to regain power from the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Senator Anyanwu therefore expressed confidence on the capacity of the party to bring back functional governance to the state and the entire South East zone, adding that traditional rulers who were respected and admired when the party was in charge would bounce back once the party takes over power in 2023.
