The Isoko North Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, have expressed deep shock and sadness over the passing of Majority Leader of the Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Tim Owhefere.
Owhefere a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party and member representing Isoko North Constituency, died at the Federal Medical Centre, Asaba on Wednesday night after a brief illness at the age of 57 years.
In a statement by the Chairman of the party in the area, Prince Godwin Ogorugba, the party lauded the worthy contributions of the late iconic lawmaker to the PDP family in Akiewhe-Owhe and the Local Government Area.
He stated that the late Tim Owhefere demonstrated exceptional capacity, humility and patriotism in handling the affairs of the Assembly as House Leader.
He added that the demise of Owhefere at this time is not just a big blow to the party but a collosal loss his constituents and Deltans.
He condoled the bereaved family, praying that “God Almighty will give them the strength and fortitude to bear the great loss.
“May his soul rest in peace. Amen!!!”, Prince Godwin Ogorugba, Chairman PDP, Isoko North LGA Chapter prayed.
