Ekwunife: I Rejoined PDP When I Saw History Coming, Ex-APGA Rep Member Ozodinaobi Says
When I see history coming, I always like to be part of it. These were the words of a former member of the House of Representatives, Hon George Ozodinaobi (Ajajanze) when he joined Senator Uche Ekwunife to visit the local government delegates of the Peoples Democratic Party in Njikoka on Monday, March 8, 2021. Chief Ozodinaobi represented Anaocha, Dunukofia and Njikoka federal constituency between 2003 and 2007.
Senator Ekwunife who is a leading governorship aspirant for the November 6 election succeeded Chief Ozodinaobi as the representative of the federal constituency where she went on to deliver a representation that is till date adjudged the best of the constituency.
Addressing party delegates, Chief Ozodinaobi noted that in 2003 he saw history coming with the emergence of Mr Peter Obi as the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), today, according him, history is again beckoning with the entrance of Senator Ekwunife into the governorship race.
Describing Ekwunife as a courageous and people-oriented politician, the former rep member stated that the Senator has through her antecedents shown that she has the capacity to shoulder the responsibilities of being the governor of Anambra state.
He urged the PDP delegates of the local government to be part of history by giving Ekwunife the necessary support in her bid to become the candidate of the party and the next governor of the state. He stated that there was a time they used motorcycles to appreciate supporters, but today Ekwunife has raised the bar of representation, using cars, houses and all sort of empowerment materials to support the people.
