Deputy Governor, Mannir Yakubu Commiserates With Victims of Katsina Central Market Fire

Katsina State Deputy Governor Mannir Yakubu, has commiserated with victims of Katsina Central Market over the fire outbreak that damaged hundreds of shops and properties worth billions of naira.

The Deputy Governor, who visited the scene of the incident yesterday, was received by the chairman of the traders union, Alhaji Abbas Labaran.

Alhaji Mannir Yakubu went round the market with the officials and traders to assess the level of damage in the market.

The Deputy Governor expressed shock and sadness over the incident.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Musa Kallah in a statement added that the Deputy Governor was accompanied by the Director General of the state investment promotion agency, Alhaji Ibrahim Tukur Jikanshi, among others.
