Comrade Ayodele Adewale Urges The Consolidation Group (TCG) Members to Contest for Political Office in Lagos LGAs

Former Chairman of Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area (LGA), Comrade Ayodele Adewale has while commending the efforts of all members of his group, the Consolidation Group (TCG), for their commitment towards mobilising for the ongoing All Progressive Congress (APC) membership registration/revalidation exercise, urged them to show interest in political offices as the LGA chairmanship and Councillorship elections.

He stated this at the weekly general meeting of TCG, which was held in furtherance of the mobilisation exercise.

He encouraged members to double their efforts in attracting more people to register and join the APC.

He further disclosed that the main purpose of the meeting, amongst others, was to intensify plans and strategies to increase registration numbers as it has been revealed by the Federal and State inspectorate team that Amuwo Odofin local council needs to do more.

Comrade Ayodele Adewale who also encouraged TCG members to show interest in political offices as the LGA chairmanship and Councillorship elections, stated that the decision making process would first be performed at the wards levels while the Chairmanship aspirant will be done at the LGA level of TCG to pick a standard bearer for the group ahead of the APC primaries.

‘Leader’, as he is fondly called, admonished members to always be present at their TCG and APC ward meetings and be effective.

The TCG ward Coordinators gave their progress reports.

A total number of 134 members were recorded at the TCG LGA meeting.

The next meeting was scheduled for Monday March 30, 2021 at 4pm.
