Chinonso, Nigeria was not created for roaming cows – whether Fulani or non-Fulani cows. We have Igbo cows and they are not permitted to roam and destroy people’s crops.

We have Igbo animal herders but they are not armed to kill people, rob, rape, kidnap, burn people’s houses and commit other heinous crimes.

Roaming Fulani cows is a failure of leadership of Nigeria and not an inevitable consequence of Nigeria’s creation. That is not to say that Nigeria does not have structural problems. It does.

But the structural problems can be corrected through restructuring of the country. I believe in restructuring of the country, which we can only do in government.

If every identified structural problem of Nigeria becomes a justification for any group to want to leave the country, people would continue leaving the country until there will no longer be any country to leave.

I know that many of you my long-standing political associates are not happy that my commitment to emergence of President of Nigeria of South-East extraction is a firm commitment to Nigerian project, but let me once again appeal for your understanding that our taking presidential power to restructure Nigeria would pay Ndigbo more than an attempt to leave Nigeria at this time.

I must once again appeal to the millions of you mostly young Igbo men and women who want to opt out of Nigeria without giving the country this last chance for Nigeria led by a South-Easterner to restructure itself and work for all Nigerians.

Please join us, let us win 2023 Presidency of Nigeria for genuine justice, security, peace, freedoms and prosperity of Ndigbo and other ethnic nationalities of Nigeria.
