Now that the Christmas and New Year festivities are over, Annie can’t seem to wrap her head around how she’s going to pay the gargantuan bills in front of her simply because December was really detty and you only live once they said.

Three days to her rent and school fees payment deadline, her uncle in America had come through for her, thank you uncle P! Annie screamed in excitement.

For the first time in 10 years of her constant pestering, uncle P finally sent her a $500 Amazon gift card which when converted is enough to cover her urgent needs.

The issue now is where Annie will convert it to cash at a very good rate.

Her friend Olabisi had been ripped off and lost over N100k value on her card in December and right now is not the best time for Annie to experiment; “I need a sure plug that pays almost immediately and with minimal charges” annie spoke apprehensively on the phone to Bayo her course rep.

The landlady’s disappointment was written all over her face but Annie couldn’t care less as she cat walks slowly making sure her shoes made the legendary “kokonka” sound while flipping her 18’’ bone straight wig at the same time.

I’m definitely changing apartment next session, I don’t need this negative energy in my final year” Annie said to herself but in the meantime, a baby girl gotta slay as she should all thanks to her uncle and Zabira for coming through for her and saving her from embarrassment.

Now I’ve got my groove back Annie screams excitedly as she walks out the gate into a waiting taxi and heads to school.
