Time eats up everything
Time restless time
Childhood is lost to time
Youth devoured by time
Age the force of time
Times end in the womb of time.
I was born to die
I live to die
I struggle, I toil
I slave, I grieve
I give, I take
And this circle is constant
Until I die
It was fifty some weeks ago
Fifty one today how time flies
I will give my mite
I might create laughter
I will give love and create joy
Until I die
Tell me how long I have
I don’t care how short it is
I must toil for the good of all
For all I have is now
I shall do good
Until I die
If by Jove I falter
I am but human
When I am wrong
I strive to do right
I try I am but human
I will give my best
Until I die.
Grant me Grace
Bless my Toil
Guide and Guard me
Great Lord of My Soul
Hold me firm
And keep me on the straight path
Until I die
The Cosmic Law Fulfills. So Mote It Be.
Dedicated to me by me as I mark the 51st year of my sojourn in this mortal sphere, this 12th Day of March, 2022.
