Nigeria Vs Ghana Football Match: FG Declares Half Working Day In Support for Super Eagles
The Federal government has directed all offices to close by 1pm, on Tuesday, March 29 as it galvanizes support for the national football team, the Super Eagles ahead of a crunchy World Cup qualifier against the Black Stars of Ghana.
In a circular signed by the Permanent Secretary, Service Welfare Office, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Ngozi Onwudiwe, said the directive is to enable more citizens go to the stadium to watch the match between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana in continuation of the 2022 FIFA World-Cup Qualifier, playoff return leg in Abuja.
The circular noted that there is need to mobilise support for the Nigerian Team and consequently all offices will be shutdown by 1.00pm on Tuesday.
The circular requested Permanent Secretaries to give the circular wide
publicity to achieve the desired result.
