Deputy Governor Yakubu in Condolence Visit to Family of Late Salisu Maigari Danjuma

Katsina State Deputy Governor, Qs. Mannir Yakubu has condoled with the family of late Salisu Maigari Danjuma, the former Chairman of the Katsina State Local Government Service Commission, who died on Thursday at federal medical centre Katsina after a brief illness.

Before his death, he was also the Waziri Bakori.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Musa Kallah, in a statement said confirmed that the Deputy Governor, on his arrival, was received by the Makaman Bakori, Alhaji Idris Sule and members of family.

While consoling the family of the deceased, Qs. Mannir Yakubu prayed for the repose of his soul and the fortitude for the family to bear the irreparable loss.

He described the late Maigari as a dedicated civil servant, who contributed immensely to the development of Katsina State.

Late Salisu Maigari Danjuma died at the age of 70 and left behind twelve children and three wives.

The Street Reporters Newspaper reports that late Salisu Maigari has been buried at the Gidan Dawa cemetery according to Islamic rites.
