Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwrori has been adjudged to be the most outstanding and credible personality out of all the political gladiators struggling to replace the incumbent Governor of Delta State, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa.

This declaration was made known by Hon. Chief Emamusi Goodnews Obiodeh, Special Assistant to Governor during an interactive session with newsmen in Asaba, the State Capital.

Obiodeh, a former Leader of the Isoko South Legislative Arm further outlined the exceptional qualities that set Oborevwrori, who is the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, apart from other contenders.

According to Obiodeh, Oborevwrori’s wealth of experience in the corridors of power in the State has positioned and elevated him far above his contemporaries because of the complexity that surrounds governance of a multi-lingual State such as Delta.

He further noted that since the advent of democracy in Nigeria in 1999, the Speaker has not just remained in the political scene but has garnered cognate leadership experience having understudied the entire three administrations in the state, at various levels.

While speaking further, Obiodeh used the opportunity to applaud the Speaker for being such a humane and humble politician whose grassroots followership cuts across the nooks and cranny of the State because of his love for the people.

Obiodeh also indicated that Oborevwori has lived with his people in Osubi community for over 30 years, and that all his stakes and interests remain within the State and would therefore ensure that the State develops with rapid speed.

It is on the above premises that Obiodeh concluded firmly that Oborevwrori will bring his multi-faceted skills to bear in the management of our resources and people of Delta State, urging all the PDP delegates to cast their votes for the Speaker to become the flagbearer of the Party.
