People must give the Bible some credit as the inspired word of God; for saying that “The Just Shall Leave By Faith”.

This means that Faith, whichever one, and however it is been displayed, must be that which is “justified” by an agreed parameter, to merit the blessings of the Lord.

It is inconceivable in the present political atmosphere and within the circumstances that we operate in APC, to see how one who just came into a political party that was built, nurtured, and sustained by people, using their wealth and time in expectation of reward, with the hope of using such a platform to realize their dreams, only for someone just coming into it now, believes that he or she can just come in for whatever reasons adduced, and assume the leadership of such outfits.

It’s not only unjust, but it is immoral to contemplate such a scenario.

Those who back such an atrocious act should examine themselves again. It’s a recipe for chaos. And no amount of appeasement can tolerate such inferences.

We should endeavor at all times on doing what is moral and just, to warrant the endorsement and blessings of the Lord in our lives at all times.

By so doing, our entire accomplishments would be crowned with divine success. Politics could be termed a business. But not that of buying and selling in the markets where cheating is the undercurrent slay.

Politics, especially partisan under a political party, involves the persuasion of human beings to see one’s point of view under a process that is devoid of cheating and treachery but that which entails persuasion towards the conviction of an individual to concede to the visions, dreams, and aspirations of the different political parties involved at the time.

And must be morally based to have the required effect and approval by all concerns without let or hindrance.

By the way, where would such an individual get the support from to ascend in the midst of those who built the party, nonetheless still hankering for a place? Because support must come from party members for anyone to become the party’s flag bearer.

Is the person in question expecting that the members he or she met would abandon the one who has been helping to sustain them throughout the period to someone who just came with pledges and handouts, no matter how enticing, how could that be?

Such is an assumption that is in the realm of presumption. And that is often the belief of a dreamer.

And dreaming does not have a place now in our fight against one whose ego has been bruised such as the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) who are highly desirous for power with the hope of staging a comeback.

Leadership at the level of a Governor, President, and so on is enthroned by the Lord of Host. And the Lord is not a breather of confusion nor a respected of persons. And Democracy is driven by the people’s will.

The “will” of the people in unison, is the will of the Lord. When you ignore the people and put your trust or reliance on the instruments of inducements, you’ll fail flat in a strict Democracy environment where equity and justice reign supreme.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) must sort and implement that in its entirety to retain power as an incumbent. Otherwise, PDP will dance Kokoma or Ekombi on our heads in no time.

In all fairness, the Cross River Governorship candidate for whatever reasons should come amongst the old folks, that is to say, the selection, if it must take place again, against the recently agreed consensus where Prince Bassey Otu became the party’s flag bearer in line with the decision to zone Governorship to the South, howbeit, should be between Senator Prince Bassey Otu, Senator John Owan Enoh, and Pastor Usani Usani; if he is still in the race and not a stranger no matter how viable the person, it wouldn’t inspire gregarious support anywhere one looks at it.

The party at this moment in time must be mindful of the feelings of our supporters internally first before considering those in the public.

They should not be taken for granted. It is the carriage, and enthusiasm demonstrated internally, by those in the party that inspires those outside the party to be persuaded to it, or the candidate, not the other way around.

Therefore the way the party treats the member’s matters a lot at this juncture in our fight against a formidable side such as the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP).

If we allow undue influence or expose the members to inducement which offers but a temporal satisfaction to members at the expense of upholding what should endure in attracting victory to the party in the task ahead, we do so to our peril.

We cannot allow new entrants to the party to become its flag bearer where those who sustained it are desirous of the position and are most qualified anywhere.

That would’ve been lacking in equity and justice to so do, with no prejudice to anyone. Anything short of that would be acrimonious to contemplate, failure is apt.
