HURIWA TO Hope Uzodinma, South East Governors: Chase Fulani Terrorists Away From Eastern Forests
HURIWA Accuses Army, Security Agents of Aiding And Abetting Terrorists in the Region
The killing by Fulani terrorists operating as armed kidnappers of a popular Nigerian dancer, Solomon Chukwudi, who was shot dead along Okigwe Road in Imo State has been described by Human Rights Writers Association Of Nigeria (HURIWA) as one terrorist attack too many for the troubled State of Imo under Governor Hope Uzodinma.
HURIWA has condemned this gruesome murder of a talented dancer whose only crime was that he was going to his home in the South East from Abuja and this was possible only because the Imo State governor behaves like a saboteur sent by the Fulanis to destroy his Motherland because of his unbridled ambition for political power by all means.
HURIWA wonders whether Hope Uzodinma lives in another planet not to be aware that Fulani terrorists have flooded into all the forestry reserves located in Imo and adjourning States in Igbo land to execute their satanic agenda of forcefully depriving Igbo people of their native lands and the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration is actively a partner with these terrorists for abysmally failing to order the armed forces under his command and control to flush them out.
“But President Muhammadu Buhari is behaving increasingly in so many ways that his government that is in a deadly hurry to destroy the Indigenous People of Biafra and the Eastern Security Network only because both bodies have made it known that they wouldn’t let armed Fulani terrorists take over South Eastern forests.
HURIWA said categorically that President Muhammadu Buhari will do nothing to stop the armed Fulani terrorists because his government is apparently in bed with these expansionist agents of destabilisation some of whom came all the way from Chad, Niger and Central African Republic whereby Fulanis were displaced by the natives just as the Rights group said the President can prove this hypothesis wrong by ordering soldiers to decisively crush the Fulani terrorists in the South Eastern forests, a task that may never see the light of the day.
The Rights group recalled that Solo, whose real name was Solomon Chukwudi, was travelling from Abuja to Aba on Wednesday, June 29, when the vehicle he was in was attacked by gunmen.
Three people were hit in the car and Solo was one of them. The dancer, fondly called The Slowmo King, was taken to the hospital but died on Thursday, June 30.
HURIWA condemns the series of attacks by armed Fulani terrorists in Imo State and blamed the Governor Mr. Hope Uzodinma who is frequently based in Abuja rather than stay back in his office in Owerri to provide the much needed leadership to wipe off these terrorists who have virtually occupied the entire forests in the South East.
The Rights group wondered of what benefit will it be for Hope Uzodinma and other South East Governors if Igboland is overrun by Fulani herdsmen and terrorists who are on the move currently.
HURIWA also blamed the security forces including the Nigeria Army, the Nigeria Police, the DSS for crushing the Eastern Security Network set up by Igbo youths to ransack the forests and chase away armed Fulani terrorists just as the Rights group said it is now clear that the aim of destroying the Eastern Security Network on the orders of President Muhammadu Buhari and the invitation of Governor Hope Uzodinma was to soften the grounds for the current invasion of the Igbo forests by armed Fulani terrorists who are now unleashing torrents of violence on residents and travellers.
HURIWA asked Ohanaeze Ndigbo to wake up and smell the coffee.
“We condemn the security forces for aiding and abetting these terrorists in the South East because it is illogical to stop citizens from defending themselves, collected all their hunters guns so as to make it seamless for Fulani terrorists to hit the South East of Nigeria.
The Rights group has asked the South East governments to invest heavily and substantially to procure technological tools for battling the insurgency of Fulani terrorists in the South East which has the blessing of the security forces that haven’t done anything to check the rise in terrorist attacks in the South East just as the Rights group backs self defence for citizens facing imminent extinction from Fulani terrorists.
