President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of three new Permanent Secretaries in the Nigerian Federal Civil Service.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, made this known at the weekend in Abuja.
She disclosed the details in a statement signed by Deputy Director (Communications), at the head of service, Mohammed Ahmed Abdullahi.
Revealing the names of the newly appointed Federal Permanent Secretaries and their states of origin, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan said one of the appointees is Jafiya Lydia Shehu from Adamawa State while another is Udo Okokon Ekanem from Akwa Ibom State.
The name and state of the third appointee was given as Faruk Yusuf Yabo from Sokoto State.
According to the Head of Service of the Federation, “a date for the swearing-in and deployment of the new appointees will be announced in due course.”
The new appointments followed the recently conducted selection process aimed at filling existing vacancies in the federal civil service.
