Katsina State Deputy Governor, QS Mannir Yakubu, has condoled the family of late President Umar Musa Yar’Adua over a death of their brother, Alhaji Jafar Musa Yar’Adua.
According to a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ibrahim Musa Kallah, the deputy governor described the demise of Jafar as a great loss, not only to the people of Katsina State, but to the entire nation.
He said that late Jafaru was a complete gentleman and an embodiment of humility.
He prayed to Almighty Allah for the repose the departed’s soul and to give the family and the entire state the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Alhaji Jafar Musa Yar’Adua, who was aged 68, died on Sunday after a brief illness.
He is survived by one wife, seven children, many grandchildren, relatives, and his aged mother, Hajiya Dada Yar’Adua.
He was buried at Danmarina Cemetery after funeral prayer held in according to Islamic rites.
