The iWalk event is also part of unique activities to mark the Independence Anniversary of Nigeria next month.
Dr. Akinyemi had in a statement last week said, “Good governance is at the mercy of process, a compromised process can’t effect order as desired.
“Emotions, sentiments and reactions must not be left wild but streamlined and managed to achieve our collective dreams.
“In the midst of this season’s political upheaval, Leadership, as we can observe is the need of the Nigerian youths”.
iWalk is a project of Project Victory Call Initiative (PVC-Naija) conceived to immediately provide a rallying point for all true democrats.
It is part of genuine efforts by the nongovernmental organisation to save Nigeria’s democracy from degenerating into a cash-and-carry process for the highest bidder and deep pocketed politicians by walking to say No, to vote buying.
In order to control the walk, ensure security and aid planning ahead of the programme, captains for unit of 100 participants will be appointed, necessitating pre-registration, the organisers said.
To register and participate, click here to register at PVC-NAIJA website.
The registration portal will be closed on the 25th of September, the organisers said.
