Former Chelsea Manager Thomas Tuchel Turns Down Top Club Offer

The Street Reporters Sports has gathered that former Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, rejected an offer to join a top club.

He reportedly rejected an offer to return to the Bundesliga following his sack at Premier League club, Chelsea.

According to reports, Tuchel was contacted by Bayer Leverkusen but has turned down the offer, inadvertently rejecting a chance to make a swift return to the touchline.

Leverkusen has endured a difficult start to their campaign, having only picked up five points from their opening eight games of the Bundesliga season.

Following their four-nil humbling at the hands of Bayern Munich over the weekend, Die Werkself currently occupies the 17th spot on the Bundesliga table.

Manager Gerardo Seoane is under pressure and could very well be replaced.

However, Leverkusen’s reported prime target, Thomas Tuchel is not interested in joining them.

Up next for Seoane and his charges are must-win games in his next two matches against Porto in the Champions League and Schalke in the Bundesliga.

Meanwhile, Tuchel remains unattached following his brutal sack at Chelsea.

Tuchel’s last game in charge of the Blues was a disappointing 1-0 loss at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported that Chelsea owner Todd Boehly has revealed interesting details about why they decided to sack Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel was relieved of his duties as Chelsea’s head coach last week following a spate of poor results.

The German gaffer was sacked barely 15 months after leading the side to Champions League victory.
