The State Director National Orientation Agency (NOA) Enugu, Calista Ify Ugwu, had a live interactive programme on Voter Education with a theme: “Collect Your Permanent Voters Card (PVC)” at Radio Nigeria 92.9Fm Enugu recently.
In her response to questions, the state Director NOA Enugu, Calista Ify Ugwu, enumerated how NOA has been sensitizing people on voter education at the grass roots, churches, market squares and among the pressure groups such as the National Association Of Road Transport Workers, Women Organizations and many others.
The NOA Enugu boss advised listeners to go to their wards at their polling boots and check their names for collection of their Permanent Voters Card (PVC). INEC has made the collection of PVC’s closer to people,, she stated.
“We encourage everyone that registered for the voters card to still make out time for it’s collection, your Voters Card is your power to elect leader of your choice”, she added.
“NOA shall continue to do the needful on voter and political education to encourage citizens of voting age to come out en mass and vote wisely and correctly to their choice of Leaders,” Mrs. Ugwu noted.
“Do not mortgage your future and the future of your family by allowing anyone to buy your vote during election, always look for credible and competent Candidates of your choice to vote, for a better Nigeria”, she advised.
Callers on the programme lauded NOA Enugu for their good sensitizations and encourage them to continue their good works.
