As Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State holds his last annual new year visit to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) structures as the state Governor, the governorship candidate of the party, Pastor Umo Eno has assured the people that the party will continue to have its pride of place if elected into office.
In his remarks at the event, he commended Governor Emmanuel for sustaining the tradition of always visiting the party and offering neccessary care and support.
According to Pastor Umo Eno, “I like to assure the party that, by the grace of God and their support, when we come into office, we will continue with this tradition that has been instituted by the party, and we will try as good children to go higher by one or two steps on what Governor Emmanuel has established.”
Pastor Eno also applauded the chairman of the party, Elder Aniekan Akpan for holding forth, building bridges and providing a formidable platform for the party.
He therefore urged members of the party to continue to mobilize support especially at the grassroots to ensure overwhelming victory in the 2023 elections.
