2023: NGO Proclaims “40 Days To Freedom”

A prominent Non- Governmental Organization, Youth and Media Network (YOMEN), has kickstarted a 40-Day Voter Education & Mobilisation Campaign titled, “40 DAYS TO FREEDOM” and geared towards ensuring the transperancy of the forthcoming 2023 general election.

In a press statement made available to journalists in Abuja by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the organisation, Elder Ambassador Emenike Nwachuku-Eme, the group noted that the 40 Days To Freedom Campaign is non- partisan and is geared towards enlightenening the electorates well enough for them to make their choices.

Continuing, the BOT Chairman stated the organisation, in collaboration with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), is to hold a Trainers Training for its members and other interested groups on the workings of the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS).

The training also include the use of the high-tech, software Application, YOMEN Cloud, which is the vehicle of the Ready To Vote project; a pet program of the Youth and Media Network Organization (YOMEN).
