The Coalition Of Registered Political Parties (CRPP), Enugu State chapter, consisting of eleven (11) out of the eighteen (18) registered political parties in the State has restated their earlier resolve and commitment to support and vote for the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, in the forthcoming 2023 gubernatorial election on Saturday, March 11, 2023.

In a statement signed by the Chairman and secretary of the coalition in Enugu, Chief Dr. Afam Ani and Barr. Ken Ikeh of the Action People’s Party and Allied People’s Movement respectively, the CRPP stated that “upon a thorough assessment of all the candidates on the ballot and their various blueprints, we have come to the irreversible conclusion that Barr. Peter Mbah is the best man for the job and therefore urge Enugu people to vote for capacity, competence, character and a secured future.”

CRPP also declared that after assessing the conduct of Ndị Enugu in the presidential and National Assembly (NASS) elections of February 25, commended the high level of interest and participation.

“We encourage everyone to come out and vote for PDP in the gubernatorial and State Assembly election.

“You must consider the key indices in choosing a leader, name, capacity, competence and empathy.

“CRPP, believes that Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah not only possesses the key indices, he has passed through fire in the furnace, had successful practical experiences and proven that he can be trusted with our collective destiny.

“We therefore, call on NdiEnugu to ignore all campaigns of calumny and mudslinging being peddled at campaign grounds by other candidates who are bereft of ideas on what to do for Enugu people and vote for a candidate that has been tested and trusted in many public leadership circles.

“Recall that the present administration of His Excellency, Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, got Enugu State listed among the oil producing states in Nigeria and Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s experience in the oil industry will translate to a huge economic turn around in Enugu State.

“We have endorsed Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in the best interest of NdiEnugu and we urge our teeming members and supporters to join the train in the move to a more prosperous Enugu state under the watch of the PDP candidate”, the group said.

The coalition of political parties added the the people of the state “should always remember that the politics of Enugu state stands on the tripod of justice, equity and fairness which ensures that unnecessary rancour is deleted by equal participation of the three senatorial districts in the number one seat in Enugu State.

“This practice has turned into our political culture and must be sustained by all well meaning people of Enugu State.

“We are conscious of the fact that many illustrious sons and daughters of Enugu state are qualified for the office of Governor but the PDP candidate stands out among his peers and ought to be encouraged to lead NdiEnugu to a greater height as clearly enunciated in his manifesto.

“As participants and stakeholders in the good governance project in Enugu state,it behoves on us to provide guidance in a time like this.

“We finally,call on all Nigerians and Enugu people in particular to shun violence, brigandage and all forms of electoral offences, including hate speeches intended to cause chaos or belittle others but listen to wise counsel from experienced and responsible leaders and cast their vote for the candidate that can guarantee peace, security, economic growth and defense of common good of all of us as represented in the person of Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah”, the CRPP affirmed.
