The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi on Friday arrived Abia State in company of some party stalwarts in support of the gubernatorial candidate, Alex Otti and state assembly candidates in the state ahead of the March 18 state elections.

Mr. Obi in a tweet confirmed the development, saying “After my engagements in Enugu State, I drove to different communities in Abia State with my friend and brother, the Gubernatorial Candidate of the Labour Party in Abia State, @alexottiofr, to appreciate the people for their support during our Presidential and Federal Elections. presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Mr Peter Obi in Abia State for Labour governorship candidate Alex Otti

“I also urged them to extend even a greater support to the Governorship Candidate of the Party and other House of Assembly Candidates, in the forthcoming State Elections. Let us always promote the Family Value – by voting for the Labour Party—LP: Mama, Papa, and Pikin. – PO”

On his part, Mr Otti said tweeted, “The enthusiastic crowd couldn’t contain their joy, as our campaign trail led by our Presidential candidate @PeterObi, made a brief stop at Lokpanta in Umunneochi LGA.”
