13th Memoriam: Asabe Yar’Adua Pays Tribute To Late President Umaru Yar’Adua

Dr. Asabe Shehu Yar’Adua, the widow of the late General Shehu Musa Yar’Adua, has paid glorying tributes to ex-President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, to mark the 13th year of his death.

In her tribute, the Founder and President of Asabe Shehu Yar’Adua Foundation described the late former President as a very humble, focused and reliable leader who Nigeria will forever miss.

“Had he completed his tenure of eight years, Nigeria would have overcome most of her current challenges.

“He was a personal friend in whom I saw my late husband’s many leadership qualities manifesting throughout his life.

“Like most Nigerians, I will forever miss his examplery leadership, selfless and love for the country.

“He was a detribalized leader whose integrity in leadership stood talk for everyone to see until his last breath”, Hajiya Asabe Yar’Adua said.
