HRM Eze Ezugwu Graces Burial of Attah Igala’s Brother

His Royal Majesty (HRM) Eze William Ezugwu yesterday graced the burial of Prince James Faruna Opaluwa, the elder brother of the Attah Igala, His Royal Majesty Alaji Mathew Opaluwa Ogwuche-akpa II at Idah, Kogi State.

Late Faruna Opaluwa died last week Saturday at the age of 69 after an illness.

HRM Eze Ezugwu, who arrived at Idah from Ideke land in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State for the burial ceremony, alongside his entourage, was warmly received by the President of the Kogi State Council of Chiefs and the incumbent Attah Igala as well as the royal family.

The visiting monarch noted that he was in Kogi State to pay his last respect to the deceased in recognition of late Faruna Opaluwa’s immeasurable commitment and dedication to a selfless life of service to God and humanity.

Late James Faruna Opaluwa Oguche Akpa, a retired Programme Manager at Nigeria Television Authority (NTA), was a great pillar and icon in the Aju-Amacho Dynasty.
