The Delta State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has issued a warning over a fake recruitment website, a portal advertising the commencement of massive recruitment of primary school teachers and other categories of personnel.

Chairman of ALGON in the State, Hon. Victor Ebonka in a statement on Wednesday in Asaba, said the website was fake and advised the general public to steer clear of it.

He said that the mode of recruitment for the primary school teachers and other categories of workers earlier announced is by direct application to Executive Chairman Subeb or through the respective Local Government Areas, Local Education Authority, LEA.

Ebonka, therefore urged interested applicants to disregard the unnamed fake recruitment website as it was the handiwork of fraudsters.
