Communications Minister Bosun Tijani Pledges to Formulate Policies, Transform ICT Industry
The Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, has pledged to come up with policies that would transform the ICT industry.
The Minister stated this on Monday while resuming duty hours after he was sworn-in by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Tijanni, speaking with the Heads of Agencies under the Ministry, urged them to hit the ground running.
The Minister also pledged to build on the gains recorded so far in the Ministry through effective collaboration with key stakeholders in the industry.
Tijani was among the 45 ministers President Tinubu swore in on Monday.
The Nigerian Communications Commission, the National Information Technology Development Agency, Galaxy Backbone, the Nigerian Postal Service, the National Identity Management Commission, and Nigerian Communications Satellite Limited are among the agencies under the Ministry.
