Eid-ul-Maulud: ALGON National President, Hon Alabi Harps On Virtues Of Prophet Muhammad, Extends Best Wishes To Adherents
The National President of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Hon. Kolade David Alabi has expressed his good wishes to Muslim faithful across the country with a call for unhindered demonstration of love and quest for peace which represent the hallmark of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in whom the commemoration of Eid-ul-Maulud celebration was derived from.
The celebration according to Alabi signifies the birth of Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In a statement issued last night from his Abuja Media office, Hon Kolade David Alabi conveyed his congratulatory message to Muslims whom he described as dedicated adherents to the teaching of the Prophet, he admonished them to remain law abiding in the face of all challenges noting that the virtue of patience, tolerance and perseverance imbibed by Prophet Muhammad were such characteristics and rare qualities that Prophet Muhammad exemplified.
He use the occasion to encourage Local Government Chairmen, Counselors, and their workers in all LGAs and Councils in the country to remain resolute in seeking the face of Allah at all times; who, according to him, has the sole authority to offer his blessings and protection.
The ALGON President concluded his wishes by reminding them “to always rise up to every challenges in life, especially now politics are over and the country is witnessing formidable transition through the economic policy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which have provided evidences of renewed hope in the trajectory of national rebirth and development.”
