Coalition Of Registered Political Parties (CRPP) Enugu State Congratulates Gov. Mbah, Ndi-Enugu On His Well Deserved S/Court Victory
The Coalition of Registered Political Parties (CRPP) Enugu State Chapter has lauded the Supreme Court judgment which affirmed the decision of the Enugu State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, and the Court of Appeal that upheld the victory of the state governor Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah in the March 18 2023 Governorship Election in the State.
In a statement jointly signed by the State Coordinator, Chief Hon. Innocent Ezeoha; the State Chairman, Dr. Afam Ani; and the State Secretary, Barr. Ken Ikeh respectively immediately the judgement was delivered, the leadership of the Coalition noted that “the Court was right in upholding the genuine aspiration of NdiEnugu who voted en-mass for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Dr. Peter Mbah.”
The Coalition pointed out that the news of the judgment delivered by the Supreme Court brought eloquent jubilation in the entire state.
The Chairman of the Coalition, Dr. Afam Ani, while speaking to newsmen, said, “we thank God for the victory of His Excellency Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah”, expressing joy that “the time for litigations has finally been brought to a concluding end” and expressed gratitude that “the distractions are now over, meaning more concentration for the government to deliver dividends of democracy to the good people of Enugu State and to embrace an all inclusive government.
“We call on all citizens and residents in Enugu State, irrespective of party affiliation to give the Governor and the state government the support needed to deliver on campaign promises and lead the state to higher glory.”
Recall that the Coalition of 13 registered political parties had worked with the Governor before, during and after the election.
According to the group, that signified their “confidence in the ability and capacity of His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah to deliver on his avowed campaign promises to NdiEnugu.”
