Newcastle Vs Man City: Details At Full-time As Kevin De Bruyne Pulls the Strings
At full-time in the Manchester City vs Newcastle Premier League ended 3-2 after Manchester City came back from two zero down to edge Newcastle United .
In an outstanding result for Guardiola’s side, the hosts (New Castle) will be entirely dismayed after Kevin De Bruyne pulled the string through a fabulous piece of play from De Bruyne, sending a pitch-perfect ball flying to Oscar Bobb at the far post and the youngster keeps his cool to lay off past Dubravka for the winning goal.
It was Oscar Bobby’s Premier League first and the late goal by Bobb gave Manchester City a 3-2 win over Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
Kevin De Bruyne had come off the bench to equalise against the host but soon after the Bobb winning goal, Newcastle look to have a chance at a penalty.
The ball bounces about in the box on the other end, but after a quick check, the handball chance is waved off.
Bobb Says It’s a Lifelong Dream
Manchester City forward Bobb, who scored the winner, had this to say after the game: “[Just an] amazing feeling. Watching from the bench, it was such a high-tempo match. When I got the chance to come on, the manager [Guardiola] told me to go out and score.”
“It’s a lifelong dream [to score my debut goal], and to do it with the best team in the world, I can’t explain it. We could hear the fans all game. They helped us a lot today and this win is for them.”
“I said thank you to him [De Bruyne] after. He is the only one in the world who can do that [the assist which set up Bobb’s goal]. Not only is he one of the greatest players in the Premier League, he is such a nice guy as well.”
