Less than 48 hours to this time, Dignitaries across all walks of life, will be gathering inside House of Chiefs, Parliament Building, Agodi Secretariat, Ibadan, to honour the invitation of Samuel Ladoke Akintola Memorial Foundation, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, to the 2024 Samuel Ladoke Akintola Memorial lecture and Award Presentation holding Thursday, 25 January, 2024, by 10am prompt.

Topic: Yoruba Nation and National Politics: Past, Present and the future

Guest Speakers are Prof Muyiwa Popoola, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Ajayi Crowder University, Oyo, Oyo State, and Mr Dotun Oyelade, Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Oyo State.

President, Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is the Special Guest of Honour, while the Southwest Governors are Guests of Honour.

Chief Host is Engineer Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, Executive Governor of Oyo State

Oloye Lekan Alabi, Aare Alaasa of Ibadanland, and Honourable Mulikat Akande Adeola, former Majority Leader, House of Representatives, are father and mother of the day respectively.
