Officials of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) have paid a working visit to the Katsina State Pilgrims Welfare Board to ascertain its preparedness for this year’s Hajj.
Receiving the Officials in his Office, the Executive Director of the Board Alhaji Yunusa Abdullahi Dankama said adequate arrangements had been made for the successful airlift of intending pilgrims from the Umaru Musa Yar’adua International Airport Katsina.
Alhaji Yunusa Dankama informed the Visitors that Governor Umaru Dikko Radda was giving his Board all necessary support for success of the Hajj airlift.
Earlier in his remarks the Leader of the delegation from the Aviation Authority said their visit was to ascertain the preparations made and inspect facilities at the Airport for successful Hajj exercise this year.
The Visitors were later taken round the pilgrims Camp by a Director of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board Malam Aminu Abdullahi Yammawa.
