The Kogi State Commissioner for Works Hon. Engr Muhammed Avohi Yusuf has praised the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo for giving prompt attention to Contractors of the State.

Hon. Engr Muhammed Ahovi Yusuf made this known in Lokoja on Tuesday 12/03/2024 while inspecting multiple jobs that have turned the state into a construction site.

The commissioner expressed satisfaction with Tec Engineering Construction Company and CCECC Company handling Zone 8 roundabout—Crusher road and Barracks—Zango—GYB Junction dual carriageway respectively.

‘I want to sincerely applaud the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for the prompt release of funds to the contractors of the State, as you can see, all our ongoing projects are currently receiving attention and our contractors are happy.

“I also commend our contractors for the wonderful job seen so far. The job is commendable.

“I charge you to continue with this quality of job to the end of the project. In Kogi State, we have a standard raised by the former administration, ably led by His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello and with the consolidation mantra and continuity by His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, anything less than that will not be taken from our contractors” he said

Hon. Muhammed who regretted the recent security challenge in the State reassured the contractors that more security measures were now put in place to prevent reoccurrence adding that Kogi has been known as a peace haven.

Speaking, the Site manager of Tec Engineering Engr Hu Jinming and Suny Yao of CCECC promise to sustain the quality of the job to the end noting that that is the only way they could be considered for another job.

In the Team of the Honourable Commissioner are the Permanent Secretary Engr Audu, the Director Civil Engr Sunday Baba, the Deputy Director Civil Engr Akubo Allahasn, and the State Information Officer Mr Abah Benjamin Eneojoh.
